The merit list was released during the teacher recruitment process, which is taking place on the official pavitra website of the state, along with the interviews.
Pune: The management merit list has been published for the teacher recruitment process, which is being conducted through the Pavitra website. A total of 7,805 candidates have been recommended for 4,879 positions across 1,096 managements, based on their top 10 priority choices. The selected candidates will undergo interviews and teaching skill tests organized by the educational institutions. Education Commissioner Suraj Mandhare shared this update.
The recruitment process for 16,799 positions has been completed without interviews. To ensure a fair recruitment process, a standard operating procedure (SOP) has been established for the objective assessment of candidates. This includes a total of 30 marks for the Interview and Teaching Skills.
Candidates prioritised the recruitment for 4,879 vacancies across groups from 1st to 5th, 6th to 8th, 9th to 10th, and 11th to 12th. Based on these priorities, 7,805 candidates have been shortlisted. Candidates must reach out to the relevant educational institution for further steps. If any issues arise during the selection process, institutions should contact the Education Officer who managed the advertisement.
Candidates can also approach the District Collector (Primary, Secondary) for any grievances related to the selection process. It is important for candidates to include necessary documents with their applications. The education officer is required to verify the complaint and provide a decision within three days.
Candidates can file an appeal application to the Divisional Deputy Director if there is no resolution from the Education Officer level. The Divisional Deputy Director of Education has been instructed to take a reasonable decision within three days and take action as per the prevailing rules.
